Angela brings academic-level data rigor and structure to EdgeQuest Global's diagnostic instruments and metrics development. She holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership and Development, is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and is an Authorized DiSC Partner. Before EdgeQuest, her data-driven approach saved organizations more than $30 million through measurable operational improvements, a discipline she now applies to the structural diagnostic behind the firm's work.
In 5 to 10 minutes, answer 18 questions and get a written report on your organization's structural health.
Angela designs and validates the instruments EdgeQuest uses to make organizational patterns visible, including the firm's 18-question, nine-dimension structural diagnostic. Her process combines surveys, interviews, focus groups, and manager input, so leaders see both the numbers and the story behind them. Her doctoral research on why newly hired employees choose to stay shapes how she reads the people side of the data. She also uses AI and automation to give leaders cleaner data and a clearer view of the future their organization is building.
As a former Vistage Chair, Angela facilitated CEO peer advisory groups and coached business owners through leadership transitions. She brings that experience to EdgeQuest's advisory pods, helping executives work through hard problems with the right people in the room.
Angela has redesigned how organizations work from the plant floor to the boardroom. At thyssenkrupp Bilstein, she partnered with HR, Operations, and Quality to cut hourly turnover from 41% to 14% in three years, saving an estimated $15 million. Today she is also the first Executive Director in the 160-year history of Columbus Germania, building a 3-year strategic plan and a growth vision to carry it into its next century.
As a Five Behaviors facilitator, Angela helps leadership teams build trust, work through conflict, and agree on how decisions get made, the groundwork that governance structures depend on.
Angela began her career as a metallurgical engineer at General Motors, training new launch teams in consensus building and team communication. Over 25 years in global manufacturing and consumer goods, including roles at Ashland, thyssenkrupp Bilstein, and Whirlpool, she noticed that technical fixes rarely held unless the patterns in how people worked together changed too. That question led her to a PhD in Organizational Leadership and Development and, eventually, to EdgeQuest, where she sees the opportunity to help leaders design the organization they want next.
A native German speaker, she has led change across Germany, Japan, Mexico, Romania, Canada, and the US. At Bilstein, a training program designed by German headquarters was stalling in the US because terms that translated correctly meant something different here. Angela fixed the language and coached cultural sensitivity, and the program went on to train more than 1,200 associates.
